Phrilian Thongni of Laitumsaw village in East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that her former husband, Riewling Khardewsaw threatened her with dire consequences. The complainant also alleged that he (Riewling Khardewsaw) along with his elder sister Teinsi Khardewsaw sold her betel nut garden without her consent and also stole cash Rs. 2,30,000.

Assistant Executive Engineer, MePDCL, Khliehriat lodged a complaint that on November 8 around 2 pm, unknown miscreants stole nuts and bolts from tower No. 78 located at Mookyndur and from tower No. 100 located at Moodymmai village in West Jaintia Hills, while the tower located at Mukhla (WKH) was damaged.
Bidyanath Jha lodged a complaint that on October 29, around 10 am, when he opened his ‘pan’ shop at Police Bazar, Shillong, he found that unknown miscreants broke into his shop and stole goods amounting to Rs. 47,920.
