Drugs seized, two held
Madanriting police on Saturday arrested two women after recovering around 100 grams of suspected heroin from them. Police said the movement of the women, identified as T Haokip and Z Ralte, was being monitored for quite some time. The duo are from Manipur.

One dead in accident
On November 23 around 5 pm, one vehicle (ML-04B-1296) driven by D.B. Dalamon Roy Laloo knocked down Jake Myngngor at Ummulong (WJH). The victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Ummulong were the MO declared him brought dead.

Fire breaks out
On November 22 around 7.30 pm, a fire broke out in the house of Synda Nongkrot of Pynter village, Pynursla in which property worth Rs. 1,50,000 was damaged.

Attacked
Westerjune Mawlong, Register Mawlong and Smatkam Mawlong lodged a complaint that on November 22 around 10 am, while they were cleaning their garden at Sohbyrthid, Malaisohmat Syiemship, Mawsynram , Raibor Lyngdoh Laitthied and his accomplices attacked the complainants with catapults causing injuries to them.

Theft
On November8, Bablu Hajong lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08E-5593) from Hawakhana, Tura.
Listeriky Dhar lodged a complaint that on November 23 around 3.30 am, one Rupa Warjri and Wanroy attempted to steal materials from a construction site at Law-U-Sip.

One arrested for stealing clothes
Chetan Raj Mehra lodged a complaint that on November 23 around 9.45 am, one Khrawkupar Syiemiong (20) was caught red-handed for stealing clothes from his compound at Bivar Road. Police arrested the accused.

Assault
Sourojit Shome lodged a complaint that on November 23 circa 1.30 pm, four miscreants assaulted him near Garo Union School at Boyce Road, and also snatched his wallet and cell-phone.
On November 22 night, one Differson Makdoh assaulted Banshamphang Marak at Nongpoh. Police arrested the accused.
Rangan Ch Marak of Marak Songmagre village under Jengjal PS (WGH) lodged a complaint that on November 20 around 10 am, one Sleng T Sangma and his two accomplices armed with ‘khukri’ went to the residence of the complainant and forcibly took away cash Rs. 21,200- and also assaulted him causing injuries to him.
On November 16 around 9 pm, four miscreants assaulted Baharul Islam Borbhuya and also looted cash Rs. 15,000/- and one cell-phone from him at Bishnupur.

Attempt to steal
Pherrewell Dkhar lodged a complaint that on November 22 circa 8.30 am, one Paul Tlangte (38) was caught red-handed while he was attempting to remove a car tape from his (complainant) Maruti van (ML-05Q-0643) at Fire Brigade, Laitumkhrah.

Woman duped of Rs 1 lakh
Emio Kympad lodged a complaint that on November 7, Sein Dkhar borrowed Rs. 1,05,000/- from her but has failed to repay the same.
