SHILLONG: The central election committee of People’s Democratic Front (PDF) has announced the party’s third list featuring three candidates in the run up to the Assembly Elections 2018.
In a statement issued here, general secretary of the PDF, Auspicious L. Mawphlang, informed that sitting MDC, Blanding Star Warjri will contest from Mawthadraishan, Hilarius Pohchen from Nongkrem while Gavin Miguel Pariat Mylliem, son of WMS Pariat, the former Chief Secretary of Meghalaya, will contest from Sohra.
With this list, the PDF has so far announced the names of 22 candidates.
He informed that candidates for Jaintia Hills constituency and other constituencies will be declared in the fourth list.
