World Autism Awareness Day
SAN-KER will organise a ‘Walk for Autism’ from Thangkhiew Petrol pump, Mawlai via Mawlai Nonglum, Motysiar to Don Bosco Museum at 10 am on April 2. World Autism Awareness Day is observed to raise awareness and encourage acceptance of people with autism and the focus this year is on the girl child and women living with this condition.
Weather warning
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning whereby thunderstorm accompanied with squall is very likely at isolated places over Meghalaya and Assam on March 22 and 23.
Puja celebration
Basanti Durga Puja will be celebrated in Jail Road Puja Mandap from March 23 to 26.
Blood donation
A voluntary blood donation camp will be held on March 23 at Nazareth Hospital to mark the death anniversary of the revolutionary Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev from 9 am to 4 pm. 
Exhibition
The Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Meghalaya Khadi and Village Industries Board, Shillong will organise an exhibition cum buyers and sellers meet under Polymer Chemical Based Industry on the State Central Library premises from March 26 to 29. There will be a showcase and display of products manufactured by the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise units like soap, candle, leather and others.
