Accident
On April 30 around 4 pm, one tempo (A/F) driven by Md. Naushad Ali (17) capsized on the road at Chellipara village in South West Garo Hills. Two occupants sustained injuries and were admitted at CH Tura.
Paulus Ryntathiang lodged a complaint stating that on April 10 around 8:00pm, one Francis Lyngdoh (33) who was also the handyman of a truck (AS-01GC-6318) driven by John Sari, fell off the truck at M/s Star Cement parking lot in East Jaintia Hill and sustained grievous injuries. He was taken to the PHC at Lumshnong and later to CH Ialong where he was referred to NEIGRIHMS after which he succumbed to his injuries.

Assault
Bythy Grace Dkhar of Moolamanoh village in East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint stating that on May 1 around 2:30pm, six persons – Nika Dkhar, Saysila Dkhar, Samiky Dkhar, Hunmi Dkhar, Pidai Dkhar and Rongrin – assaulted her at Nika Dkhar’s residence.
Nika Dkhar of Moolamanoh village in East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint stating that on May 1 around 12:30pm, one Bythy Grace Dkhar arrived at her residence, assaulted and threatened her and her children with dire consequences and also stole her gold finger ring. Later, it was found that Rs. 2 lakh in cash and three tolas of gold were missing from her residence.

Broadcast rights infringement
Nariuddin Mullick on behalf of M/s Star India Pvt. Ltd., lodged a complaint on May 3 stating that one Indrojit Singh of M/s Manthan Pearls, JM Towers, Police Bazar, a local cable operator of M/s Manthan Broadband Services Pvt. Ltd. had been illegally transmitting/re-transmitting signals of the Star pay channels in violation of the infringement of broadcasting rights of the complainant’s company.

Fraud
Reginald R. Thabah, President of the FKJGP Mawprem Circle lodged a complaint on May 3 stating that during a surprise checking of fair price shop dealers Ronak Thapa and Abas at Upper Mawprem, they found that the dealers were cheating the beneficiaries by measuring BPL and APL rice in a tin container instead of a weighing machine.

Trucks detected
SI Divine Shabong of Phulbari PS in West Garo Hills lodged a complaint on April 28 stating that while he along with Battalion personnel were on their way to make an enquiry regarding an FIR lodged by the Forest Beat Office in Hollaidanga against illegal stone quarries along Chibinang-Dadenggre Road, he detected three trucks (ML-09-6907, ML-07-4347 & AS-25-5411) loaded with boulders. The trucks were detained and the drivers were instructed to inform the truck owners to appear at the police station for verification. However, on reaching Chandigre while the complainant and staff were returning to Phulbari PS with the detained trucks, one person on a motorcycle (ML-08E-0292) identified as Mominur Mondol threatened the complainant and his staff after which a group of around ten people assaulted the complainant and fled with the trucks after snatching the original FIR and other connected papers.
