Office bearers
The Shillong Socio Cultural Assamese Students’ Association in its annual general meeting held at Asom Krishti Kendra on Sunday elected its new office bearers for 2018 with Hirokjyoti Durga as president, Surojit Hazarika as general secretary and Ambarish Nathan as finance secretary.
Alumni meet
In connection with the proposed visit of NAAC team this month, the Mendipathar College Alumni Association will organise a meeting on the college premises at 11 am on July 7. All the past pupils of the college have been asked to attend the meeting. The meeting also will discuss about strengthening the association.
Cultural event
Rabindranath Tagore Club, Laban, organised a recitation in English and Bengali and Fun Games as part of 11th Inter-Shillong Cultural Event at RLSSCO Auditorium, Bishnupur on Sunday. The club will organise a dance competition and quiz final round at RLSSCO Auditorium from 10 am on July 8.
