NHM employees hold meet

TURA: The second annual general meeting of the National Health Mission (NHM) employees association was held on Saturday at the District Auditorium Tura.
The meeting was attended by employees of the National Health Mission of Meghalaya. It witnessed active participation of members from all the 11 districts where more than 600 members attended the meet.
During the meeting, Johnson Nongbet shared the annual report of NEAM (NHM employees’ association of Meghalaya) while the financial report was presented by Kmenbhalang Khongwir, vice president of the association.
Various issues directly or indirectly affecting the welfare of the staff serving in different posts were discussed.
Besides advocating and facilitating the rights and welfare of its members, the meet has come up with an action plan that will address propagating health promotion activities for the coming days.
