SHILLONG: A concerned citizen, Meghna C Marak, has requested the government to take action against Shimnit Company, which fixes number plates on vehicles, for harassing customers and delaying work.
In a statement, Marak said the company entered into an agreement with the state government for fixing number plates within six days “but they never keep their time limit”.
The company should abide by the agreement and fix the number plates in time otherwise agreement should be scrapped, she said.
