Mentally challenged man climbs atop Kiang Nangbah’s statue

SHILLONG: A person who is claimed to be mentally challenged climbed atop the statue of U Kiang Nangbah near the Shillong Civil Hospital Junction in the city on Monday evening.
Sources said that the man climbed the statue at around 3:30 pm to 4 pm. He was later taken to the police station from where he was shifted to a rehabilitation centre.
