SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) chief executive member, HS Shylla, has directed members of the Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) to inspect labour licences at Rwiang and Kynshi in West Khasi Hills.

The local unit of HYC also informed the KHADC chief that workers in a company at Rwiang and those working for road construction company BSCCC&JV at Kynshi do not have licence from the council.
The CEM assured the organisation that he, along with the officials and enforcement personnel of the council, would inspect the factory on September 19.
