Drug peddler busted in WJH

SHILLONG: The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), West Jaintia Hills on Thursday apprehended Graceful Sumer (37) after confiscating 14.06 gms of Heroine hidden in a soap box in a tea stall at Iawmusiang in Jowai.
The accused, who is also a resident of Caroline Colony was apprehended after the ANTF had received information on his activities.
The contraband was seized in the presence of independent witnesses and a case under the U/S 21 NDPS Act is being taken up to ascertain others involved in the trafficking and the source of the consignment.
