WKH man held for minor daughter’s rape

NONGSTOIN: Police on Tuesday arrested a man on charges of raping his 13 year old daughter at Mawkohmit village in West Khasi Hills district.
Worsing Lawriniang, 37, was arrested following an FIR filed on Monday night by the Sordar of the village and has been booked under the POCSO Act.
The minor girl said she had been raped twice by her father — first on the night of October 14 and again a week later on October 21.
Following his arrest, the accused admitted to his crime saying that he had been dreaming.
