India, Pakistan armies hold flag meeting at LoC

Jammu: The Indian and Pakistani armies on Friday held a Brigadier level flag meeting at the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
“A Brigade commander level flag meeting was held between Indian Army and Pakistan army at Poonch Rawlakote Crossing Point on the LoC.”
“The Indian delegation was led by Brigadier V.S. Sekhon while the Pakistani delegation was led by Brigadier Qaiser,” Defence ministry spokesman Lt. Col. Devender Anand said.
“The flag meeting focussed on maintaining peace along the LoC and ended with either side assuring to adhere to the norms of the 2003 Ceasefire agreement and the DGMO level talks of May 29, 2018 and work towards improving the situation along the LoC,” Anand said. (IANS)
