Armed men abduct teen
Lowish M Sangma lodged a complaint that on December 21 around 11 pm, unidentified armed miscreants abducted his seventeen-year-old son from Rajai-A village, South West Khasi Hills.

Theft
Calinica Ryngnga lodged a complaint that on December 25 around 4.15 pm, miscreants stole gold ornament [4½ tolas] and Rs. 50,000 cash from her residence at Lumsohra, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
Daniel Francis Palukurthi lodged a complaint that on December 24 between 6.30-7.30 pm, miscreants stole his laptop and one EDC Swiping Machine of Axis Bank, two pairs of car keys, etc from Nongrimbah Block-1, Laitumkhrah.
On December 22 evening, miscreants broke into the house of Chedrak Kharbani at Nondein, New Nongstoin (West Khasi Hills) and damaged an almirah and stole one laptop valued around Rs. 33,000. The miscreants also broke into the tenants’ rooms.

Assault
On December 25, Sarita Pyngrope lodged a complaint that miscreants have assaulted Freddy Pyngrope at Nongrah, Nongpdeng in the city. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to NEIGRIHMS.

Vehicle lifting menace: 4 two-wheelers stolen
A motorcycle (ML-08C-3156) belonging to Boktar Sarkar was stolen from Betasing market, South West Garo Hills at 2 pm on December 24.
On the night of December 22, miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-10A-8897) belonging to Wanruplang Warjri from his residence at Lumshyiap, Langkyrding-A, Shillong.
Raphael Nongsiej lodged a complaint that on the night of December 21 and 22, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05Q-7867) from his residence at Mawdiangdiang.
Jyngshailang D Passah of Lawjynriew, Nongthymmai, Shillong lodged a complaint that on December 21, Kitbok Sohtun stole his new Yamaha scooter from his dealership and also place some other vehicle registration number, without the complainant knowledge.
