KHADC chief calls meeting on MDCs on Friday

SHILLONG: Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) CEM HS Shylla will call for a meeting with all the MDCs on Friday at Conference Hall at 3 pm to discuss on the amendment passed by the Union Cabinet on amendment to the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

 

“The discussion will be on their views of the MDCs on the amendment of the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Will discuss on what the MDCs think and then will inform the state government of the decision,” he said.  

 

He said discussions will be on whether the MDCs would want to go ahead with the upcoming Council elections or not and besides other issues.
