Motorcyclists snatch bag full of cash
Hursing Kshiar lodged a complaint that on February 8 around 1.30 pm, while he was returning home after withdrawing cash Rs. 4 lakh from SBI Byrnihat Branch, Ri Bhoi, miscreants in a motorcycle (number not known) snatched the cash and fled away towards Jorabat.

House gutted
On February 7 around 2 pm, fire broke out in the house of Hemola M Sangma at Umkhabaw village under Shella PS, East Khasi Hills. The house was completely gutted.

Accident
On February 6 around 4 pm, one auto tempo (ML-14-0279) driven by Akirul Islam (28) collided with a Tata Sumo (AS-26-0179) at Tekmanpara village under Dalu PS, West Garo Hills. As a result, driver and six other occupants of the tempo sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Tura for treatment.

Man assaulted
Shaiphyrnai Diengngan (27) lodged a complaint that on February 5 around 11 pm, Rangbri Nongbri trespassed into the residence of the complainant, assaulted and also threatened him with dire consequences. In the incident, Shaiphyrnai Diengngan sustained injuries and was admitted at CH Nongstoin for treatment.
