MAWKYRWAT: PDF MDC Hadrian Lyngdoh has warned the electorate against choosing national parties, especially the Congress, which are least concerned about jaitbynriew. Lyngdoh, while addressing a campaign for the council polls, alleged that “all national parties were involved in bringing foreigners for vote bank politics but the Congress is the most dangerous party because they bring people behind closed doors without bringing any bill to the State Assembly or Parliament”.
Lyngdoh is the PDF candidate from Mawkyrwat.
He called upon the people of the state to avoid choosing national parties because they are not concerned for the Jaitbynriew.
“National parties may claim that they will work and protect the small tribes like us but remember that the Jaitbynriew of the national parties is the whole of India and therefore they don’t care about us,” he added.
“All national parties were involved in bringing foreigners to our country. The BJP has pushed to pass the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB) because their objective is to increase vote bank in India but they failed in the Rajya Sabha. However, we are lucky that the BJP tried to bring foreigners through a law by bringing a bill in Parliament in which the people, NGOs, political parties and MPs got their chance to protest against it,” he added.
The PDF candidate asked people to vote with wisdom as district councils protect the culture and the land of the Jaitbynriew.
