Candle light procession held for martyred CrPF jawans

TURA: A candlelight procession was organized at Kasumari in Goalpara District of Assam on Saturday to express solidarity with the families of the CrPF jawans who were killed in the terror attack at Pulwama in Kashmir.

 The procession was jointly organized by the United Garo Autonomous Council Movement Committee (UGACMC), UGACMC Women Cell, All Assam Garo Gaonbura Association (AAGGA), and senior citizens and Youths of Goalpara and Kamrup.

 During the programme, one minute silence was observed and a Prayer held for the eternal peace of the slain jawans. The effigies of Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, mastermind of the terror attack, Massood Azhar and Chief of Lasker-e-Taiba, Hafiz Saeed were also burnt during the protest.
