BSF seizes cattle on international border

SHILLONG: The BSF seized 5 numbers of cattle while conducting patrolling along the International Border under Dawki PS jurisdiction.
On the night of February 2 at 11:15 pm, the BSF personnel of Naljuri BOP has seized 5 numbers of oxen intended for smuggling to Bangladesh by miscreants.
The smugglers, however, managed to escape taking advantage of the thick forest and darkness.
The owners or anyone who has information of the owner or culprits are urged to approach Dawki Police Station.
