ISRO to conduct programme at NESAC

SHILLONG: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will conduct a special programme for school-going students entitled ‘Young Scientist Programme’ (YUva YIgyani KAryakram – YUVIKA) in the later part of the year at NESAC, Umiam.
The programme will aim at imparting basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications with the intent of arousing interest in the emerging areas of space activities. The students who are studying at class 9 will be eligible for the programme. Selection of three students from each state/ union territory for the programme will be made every year.
