Free eye check up for taxi drivers

SHILLONG: Shillong Traffic Police will organise a six-day free eye check up camp for the taxi drivers in collaboration with Bansara eye care.
Informing this here on Tuesday, DSP Traffic W Momin said the free eye check up camp will be held at different locations to ensure that it is less time consuming and hassle-free.
On June 24, the camp will be held at SRGT parking lot, then on June 25 at Jingkieng Play Ground , on June 26 at Lama Villa , on June 27 at Mawlai Police station and on June 29 at Iewrynghep Ground.The DSP Traffic appealed the taxi drivers to avail these facilities and make the most out of it.
He also informed that if anyone is found to be having some eye problem and needing glasses, Bansara eye clinic would be providing glasses at a discount rate.
