Forest department rescues rare owl

SHILLONG: The forest department has rescued an owl belonging to a rare and endangered species.
Commissioner and Secretary, Forest Department Aldous Mawlong said the owl was found inside a church at Mawlai Phudmuri on Monday.
After the matter was informed to Mawlong, he deputed a wild life quick action response team and rescued the owl.
