SHILLONG: The Central Puja Committee will organise S.K.Das drum-beat competition (Group & Individual categories) on Monday at 10.30 am at Rilbong Durga Puja pandal.
The winners will be awarded with cash prizes along with medals (gold, silver & bronze). Like the previous years, the CPC will organise competition among Durga pandals of Greater Shillong on various categories. The prizes of the competition will be awarded to winning Durga Puja pandals immediately after the puja festival.
Categories of competitions are environment friendly and plastic free puja pandal, cleanliness, discipline, idols, reception, hospitality, immersion, illumination, decoration, sporting efforts and well organised Durga Puja Committee.
