SHILLONG: The Office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division, Shillong has informed that a divisional-level “Dak Adalat” will be held in its office premises on November 18 at 11 am.
The “Dak Adalat” will discuss grievances pertaining to postal services for its redressal. In a statement issued here, the office has urged that written complaints are to be sent through ordinary post or speed post with the subject “Dak Adalat” written on the cover addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division, Shillong-793001.
The complaint letters should contain complete address and registration receipt number. For complaints about saving schemes and postal life insurance, the account number/policy number and full address to the depositor or insurer should be given.
Written complaints should reach the office on or before November 11. Complaints if any received after this period will be redressed through the usual channel, the statement said.
