Five juveniles flee

SHILLONG: Five juveniles, who were involved in various crimes, including, robbery, rape and murder, escaped from the observation home for boys at Mawdiangdiang.
According to sources, the five inmates escaped from the window of the TV room on Monday between 9 pm and 9.30 pm.
The child welfare officer has filed an FIR with the police on Tuesday to investigate into the matter though a search was carried out by the caretakers of the observation home.
