Mawkyrwat: The FKJGP Langrin Circle has expressed happiness that the Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District Isawanda Laloo has listened to the issue raised by the Circle and has taken initiative to solve the problems of the youths of Ranikor Civil Sub-Division, who were applying for various posts under the District Selection Committee (DSC) of the district.
“We are very thankful to the DC and the EAC of our district for listening to the voices raised by the youths of Ranikor area by posting a person at the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer of Ranikor Civil Sub-Division who will be helping the youths to apply for the various posts under DSC,” General Secretary of the FKJGP Langrin Circle, Balse Kharbani said, adding that the assurance was given to them by the district’s Extra Assistant Commissioner LK Diengdoh.
It may be mentioned that the FKJGP Langrin Circle had recently met Diengdoh and requested to change from online application to offline application for all the candidates from Ranikor Civil Sub-Division due to the lack of cybercafés and poor network connectivity. It was also said that the cybercafés in other places were taking advantage by charging Rs 400-500 for each candidate.
Kharbani, therefore, called upon the youths of Ranikor area to take advantage of the initiative taken by the DC by visiting the office of the SDO Ranikor Civil Sub-Division and apply for the various posts instead of going to cybercafés to do the same.
