24-hour corona care centre at IIM

SHILLONG: While everyone in the country and across world is fighting against coronavirus, the Meghalaya Government is also prepared to fight this ongoing pandemic and a Corona Care Centre was set up at IIM, Shillong.
Altogether 116 rooms have made available for the Corona Care Centre, that will be kept open for 24 hours.
It was inspected by Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong and Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui along with senior officials of the health department.
Further Chairman, BOG IIM Shillong, Shishir K Bajoria in his letter to the Chief Minister also offered the new campus at Umsawli to the state government for the same cause.
