SHILLONG: The private schools of West Garo Hills district have proposed that there should not be such waiver of fee as all of the staff are entirely dependent on their salaries for livelihood.
The schools, in a letter to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, said that the government should transfer an actual amount of tuition fee for the next three months to the parent of the student or the school under direct benefit transfer or there should be no waiver at all.
