New KHADC chairman to be elected on May 27

SHILLONG: Following the resignation of KHADC Chairman PN Syiem, Governor Tathagata Roy has summoned a meeting of the Council on May 27 to elect a new chairman.
A notification from the Governor’s Secretariat on May 22 informed that the governor will summon a meeting of the KHADC on May 27 for election of the new KHADC chairman.
The governor also notified that PN Syiem has resigned from the post of chairman on May 19.
