SHILLONG: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has urged the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) not to hold online examinations stating that the “idea is not feasible”.
The union, in a letter to the comptroller of examination, NEHU, said that many students are facing a wide range of difficulties including lack of proper network connectivity, access to smart phone, laptops, etc.
“We understand that these are unprecedented times and we have to adapt to the situation but online examinations will cause problems to many students,” the NSUI said, adding that NEHU should look into other options.
