Condolence
The IIM Shillong fraternity on Monday condoled the untimely demise of its faculty member Prof. Arindum Mukhopadhyay who passed away on May 27. Two minutes of silence was observed by the faculty, officers and staff of the Institute as a mark of respect and bereavement.
Shillong Mukul Sangha, a literary organisation and affiliated organ of Asom Sahitya Sabha, Shillong has condoled the demise of Minoti Sarma, wife of Late Prof Mukunda Sarma an advocate of Shillong Bar Council, a social worker and a member of Shillong Mukul Sangha on May 30. The members of Sangha had conveyed their deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to God for granting eternal peace of the departed soul.
