Job termination likely for ICDS staff

NONGPOH: The Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi, RM Kurbah, informed that the person involved in illegally selling SNP food stuff to a local store in Mawdiangum, has been recommended for termination of job in order to give way for a fair investigation.
The accused, Batista Kharshandi, who is a casual employee of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project office had illegally sold the food items to Ramji Singh Store, Mawdiangum.
The incident came to light after members of the Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) conducted checking at the store following a complaint from the citizens. The Child Development Project Officer, Venicia C War, has also lodged a complaint in this regard and investigation is under way.
