The headmen of Rynjah, Umpling and Nongrim Hills along with Syeim had inspected the bridge on June 16.

On the other hand, Syiem also said that the three Dorbar shnongs and the MDC had decided to make a proposal for construction of  a motorable bridge at Dong Sharum, Umpling to connect Madan Rumnong and Nongrim Hills which will ease the congestion in the neighbouring localities and Shillong as a whole.
