Three active cases in state

SHILLONG: With the recovery of another patient, the number of active COVID-19 cases in the state stood at three on Wednesday.
Health Minister AL Hek said that one person in Tura recovered on Wednesday taking the number of recoveries to 42.
He said that the state now has active cases in South West Garo Hills and East Khasi Hills while other districts are free from virus.
He also informed that a total of 17,468 samples have been sent for testing out of which 16,937 have tested negative while the results of 485 tests are awaited.
