Ivan Rakitic
Spanish club Sevilla reached a deal for the return of midfielder Ivan Rakitic on Tuesday. The club said Rakitic arrives from Barcelona on a contract until 2024. The 32-year-old Croatian was one of the players that incoming Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman said was not in his plans for the future. Rakitic had played three years with Sevilla before joining Barcelona in 2014, where he had played in nearly 200 matches. (AP)

Yuto Nagatomo
Marseille on Monday announced the signing of Japanese left-back Yuto Nagatomo on a free transfer from Galatasaray. The 33-year-old penned on a one-year contract with the French side, and joins Pape Gueye and Leonardo Balerdi to become the third addition to Andre Villas-Boas’ side this summer. (AP)

AC Milan is hoping a full season from Zlatan Ibrahimovic will result in a return to the Champions League after a seven-year absence. Seven-time European champion Milan announced on Monday that the 38-year-old Ibrahimovic signed a one-season contract. The deal is reportedly worth 7 million euros ($ 8.3 million). (AP)
