Power Grid corp helps EKH in COVID fight

SHILLONG: Lending a helping hand to the district in combating the rapid rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna PSU, under Ministry of Power, provided personal protective equipment (PPE), masks, face shield, gloves, sanitiser, disinfectant et al, worth around Rs 2.88 lakh to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, East Khasi Hills, as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programme.
Ranjan Bhola, general manager, NERPSIP, Meghalaya, along with his team, handed over the items to East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Isawanda Laloo on Tuesday.
