Body recovered
An unknown male body was found lying at Wahumkhrah River on September 18, following which it was sent to Civil Hospital, Shillong, for autopsy. The body, subsequent to the post-mortem examination, has been kept at the hospital morgue. According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the deceased is approximately 5-feet tall, while his complexion is swarthy and face is round, and approximately 30-40 years old and medium built. The body has a black tattoo on the left forearm and the colour of his beard and hair is black. The man was wearing a yellow sweatshirt with a print ‘Board 068 Dream’, black undergarment and black jeans. For collecting the body, authorities can be contacted at 2224818, 8131999674 or 2222214.
