Guwahati, September 25: Seventeen more persons died of COVID19 infection in Assam today taking the state-wide death toll up to 625 2hile 1792 new COVID19 positive cases were detected in the day out of 28245 tests conducted in the day with a positivity rate of 6.34 per cent.
On the other hand 1571 recovered COVID19 patients were discharged from various Covid Care Centres and hospitals in the state.
