Officers asked to stay alert

MAWKYRWAT: South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Cara Kharkongor, on Wednesday, asked the government officers in the district to be vigilant and prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the district.
Speaking during a meeting with all district heads at the multipurpose hall, DC’s office, Mawkyrwat, the DC discussed the management of COVID-19 in government offices.
Speaking on the meeting, Kharkongor said that the rise of COVID-19 cases in the state has reached an alarming rate and despite the district having a small number of positive cases, all officers should not be complacent nor take their job lightly.
