GUWAHATI: Former Assam Chief Minister Syeda Anwara Taimur died on Monday in Australia. The lone woman Chief Minister of Assam was residing in Australia with her son for past few years. She had been ailing for a long time. Taimur was the Chief Minister of Assam from December 6, 1980 to June 30, 1981.
