Assault
Brindabon Hajong lodged a complaint that three Jio workers were attacked by unknown persons at Boldamgre village under Kalaichar PP, SWGH, allegedly for not providing Jio network for the entire day. As a result, the victims sustained injuries.
Parkar Tangsong of Nohwet village, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on October 31 between 12.30 am and 1 am, one Kitborlang Kharduia and two others attacked him at the village.
Roland Makdoh of Ummat village under Mawlasnai Outpost, Ri Bhoi, lodged a complaint that on October 31 around 9 pm, four persons, viz. Hilarius Kharkongor, Das Manu, Pyrnai Makdoh and Bahnah Saring assaulted the complainant and his family members, and also destroyed their house.
Tenerikham S Sangma lodged a complaint that on October 29, unidentified miscreants snatched one mobile phone and one ATM card at Williamnagar Market, EGH.

Theft
Ivorine Ñiangti lodged a complaint that on November 2 between 7.30 am and 8 am, one unidentified miscreant, according to CCTV footage, stole her dog from her residential compound at Demthring, Block-II, Madanrting. The accused has been identified and efforts are on to arrest him.
Andreana Kharkongor lodged a complaint that on November 3, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her shop at Jyllishop, Nongthymmai, and stole one mobile phone, cigarettes, mask and Rs 10,000 in cash.
Samarjit Paul lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of November 2 and 3, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his shop at Nongrim Hills, and stole materials valued around Rs 34,000, one mobile phone and Rs 5,000 in cash.

Drug purchase bid
On November 3 afternoon, five persons, viz. Binoy Nongpluh (29), Dylan Nonglait (23), Mankhraw Kharsyntiew (26), Kmenlang Thangkhiew (27) and Gautali (38) were apprehended from Iewduh while they were attempting to purchase psychotropic substances.

IDs misused
Olin Basaiawmoit of Umran Dairy under Umsning Outpost, Ri Bhoi, lodged a complaint that unknown miscreant(s) misused his PAN Card and Aadhaar Card for opening bank accounts at IOC Bank and Industrial Bank.

Threat
Akshay Manar and Lamshwa Paslein — both from Phriang village, WJH — lodged a joint complaint that on October 31 around 6:26 pm, one Hamran Lyngdoh created nuisance in the village and also threatened the headman, secretary of the village and his family.

Loot
Wanpli R Marak lodged a complaint that on October 31 around 11 pm, four unidentified miscreants went to her shop at Iewsier, Saiden, Ri Bhoi, looted Rs 13,000 in cash and two mobile phones, and also threatened not to disclose the matter.

Coal truck seized
On October 30 around 11 am, during naka checking at Malidor, EJH, police detected one dumper truck (ML-11-8687) driven by Dayal Ali, illegally transporting coal in violation of NGT order.

Foreigners detected
On November 4, police from Ladrymbai OP, EJH, detected two Bangladeshi nationals, viz. Swel Rana (25) and Riaz Ahmed from areas around Dosti Hotel, Ladrymbai, Datsimpein.

Duped
Heman Bishorchandra Singh lodged a complaint that unknown miscreant(s) fraudulently misused his official POS seal and signature in order to dupe one Sudip Ghosh of Rs 9 lakh by promising Jio Warehouse License at Guwahati, Assam, installation of towers and permission for E-Commerce at Kolkata.

Cattle seized
BSF from Dawki BOP, WJH, lodged a complaint that on November 1 around 5:45 am, BSF personnel, while on duty, detected six heads of cattle abandoned by unknown miscreant(s) at Bakur Dawki Area along Indo-Bangladesh Border.

Property vandalised
Ribhalang Nongbri, Secretary, Seng Khasi Mawlaingut, Diengiei, EKH, lodged a complaint that on October 20 at about 3 pm, one Josstiss Kharpran along with his three friends destroyed the wall of the graveyard and cut down trees inside the graveyard, thus vandalising the graveyard of Seng Khasi Mawlaingut.
