Dry days
The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) of East Khasi Hills has declared December 24 and 25 and January 1 as dry days in the entire district on account of Christmas and New Year respectively. All bonded warehouses, IMFL shops/ bars/ hotels/ clubs/ canteens and outstill stores shall remain closed on the aforementioned days.
