SHILLONG, March 10: Riatsamthiah gained a mammoth 193 run victory in their Super Division cricket match against Langsning CC here on Wednesday. Riatsamthiah won the toss and elected to bat first before amassing 252/7 in the stipulated 35 overs. Man of the Match Anish Charak scored 58 runs off 47 balls while Ganesh Syiemlieh made 43 off 41 balls to help their side to a respectable total. For Langsning, Riboklang Hynniewta was the pick of the bowlers returning with figures of 3/21 in 7 overs. His teammate Eugene kenny Kharsyntiew took 2/35. In reply, Langsning were bundled out for a paltry 69 runs in just 17 overs. Javed Jyrwa top scored with 17 while Dathew Syngkon added 14 runs. Wellmanson Passah was the pick of Riatsamthiah’s bowlers, claiming figures of 3/10 in 3 overs while Anish Charak took 2/15.
