24-yr-old falls off moving bus in WKH, killed

NONGSTOIN, March 29: A bus conductor hailing from Langja in West Khasi Hills was on Monday killed on the spot after falling off a bus which was in motion.
The incident occurred around 8 am at Pampor near Nongstoin during which the bus conductor, identified as Denis Mawlieh (24), is believed to have lost balance before the tragedy.
The bus (ML05F2455) was ferrying passengers and was headed towards Nongstoin.
Later, the Nongstoin Police rushed to the scene and the conductor’s body was brought to Nongstoin Civil Hospital.
After all legal formalities were observed, the body was handed over to his family.
