Illegal coal mines detected
J Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on June 5, around 9 am, police detected two illegal coal mines with fresh mining activities at Lad Mutong, East Jaintia Hills, and recovered water pumps, pipes, shovels, etc., used for extracting coal from the mines.

Fish stolen
Kitalin Nongkynrih lodged a complaint that on June 4, miscreant(s) stole fish valued around Rs 11,000, meant to be sold at Laitumkhrah Fish Market, Shillong.

Markynsai Khongwir lodged a complaint that on June 6, around 8 am, he found that miscreant(s) stole one LPG cylinder from his residence at Nongshiliang, Malki, Shillong.

Break in
Shaphylla Mary Kharkongor lodged a complaint that between May 20 and 21, miscreant(s) broke into her shop at Motinagar, Shillong, and stole cash, groceries, etc., total valued around Rs 50,000.
