ICFAI Tripura holds week-long programme

SHILLONG, July 14: The ICFAI University Tripura organised a week-long online faculty development programme that concluded on July 11. According to a statement, the programme was held with an objective to “develop skills of research and enrich publication capabilities of researchers, faculties and other scholars of India and neighbouring countries of Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan”.
The programme, entitled ‘Research Methodology, Publication and Data Analysis through SPSS’, was attended by 118 participants — from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and the UK.
During the programme, Prof Biplab Halder, Pro-VC of ICFAI, stressed on the need to organise similar events in order to develop research activities in the region.
