14 arrested in Assam for supporting Talibans in Afghanistan

GUWAHATI, August 21: Assam government considers it as a crime to  extend support to the controversial Taliban regime in Afghanistan and such act on part of the state residents call for arrest by police.

Assam police have so far arrested 14 persons for the offence of posting comments in social media platform supporting Taliban in Afghanistan. The state police headquarter has issued the names of all the 14 arrested persons.
