SHILLONG, Oct 18: Pomlakrai SC secured a comprehensive 4-1 win over Mawphlang SC in a 4th Division football match here on Monday. Riborlang Marbaniang opened the scoring for Pomlakrai in the 21st minute before Phyrnaiborlang Sohtun (35″) Damanbha Nongrum (38″) and Pynskhemlang Jahrin (50″) handed their side a four-goal lead. Arkynelson Wankhar scored Mawphlang’s lone goal. In the other match of the day, Diliengiem YSCWA came from behind to win 2-1 against Mawnianglah SC. Hobbe Myrthong put Mawnianglah ahead with a 26th minute goal. However, Wellborn Syiemiong (41″) and Monorable Kharmyndai (47″) ensured a thrilling win for Diliengiem. On Tuesday, Tynring SC amd Madan S&CC will meet in the first match of the day at 12 pm while Madanrting SC face Laikroh SC at 2 pm.
