79 fresh cases, no deaths

SHILLONG, Oct 20: The state on Wednesday recorded 79 fresh COVID-19 cases while no death was reported in the past 24 hours.
The active tally has come down to 761 while 80,958 have recovered so far including 58 on the day. The death toll remains at 1,439.
45 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 23 in West Khasi Hills, six in West Jaintia Hills, two in Ri Bhoi and one each in East Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills and West Garo Hills.
