Inspection of work on civic amenities in South Shillong

SHILLONG, Dec 5: An inspection was conducted to check the progress of the construction of a multipurpose community hall at Mynsain (New Colony) Lumparing, besides construction of student playgrounds and covered sitting galleries in two schools at Lumparing besides other infrastructure for the public by local MLA Sanbor Shullai, on Saturday.
The student playground and covered sitting gallery in Lumparing Bengalee Vidyapith Secondary School was sanctioned for an amount of Rs 12 lakh and similar facilities for Lumparing Nepali Secondary School for an amount of Rs 10 lakh.
The MLA was accompanied by officials from Shilllong Municipal Board and MTDC and members of Lumparing Welfare Society and others.
